Brand · Case maker turned charger maker

Spigen: the case brand that learned to make GaN.

Spigen has sold phone cases and screen protectors since 2004 — Tough Armor and Ultra Hybrid are its volume products. ArcStation is the charger line that grew out of that catalogue, and it is better than a case brand's side project has any right to be.

What the crossover actually means

Spigen's accessory business gives its charger line two properties. The first is distribution by attachment: an ArcStation is usually bought in the same cart as a case, which is why the lineup is weighted toward the 20–70W range that phone and tablet owners need rather than the 140W+ laptop class. The second is industrial design consistency — matte finishes and colours that match the case range, folding prongs on the compact models, and boxy bodies that sit flush against a wall.

The sub-brands are easy to keep straight: ArcStation is wall adapters, ArcField is wireless charging, and ArcDock is desktop docking. Anything labelled Pro in the ArcStation range is the GaN version, which is the one to buy above 30W.

The sweet spot is 45–70W. Below that, a house-brand cube costs less for identical results; above it, the lineup thins out fast and UGREEN or Anker have more choices with better documented per-port splits.

Check the box contents before you assume 65W. Wall adapters at this class often ship bare. A 65W or 70W charger paired with an ordinary 3A cable delivers 60W maximum — 20V × 3A — no matter what the adapter is rated for. Add a 5A e-marked cable and the full rail becomes available.

Who should skip Spigen

Skip it if you need PD 3.1 at 140W or 240W — the ArcStation range does not go there, and a SmallRig or Anker Prime unit does. Skip it if you want published per-port allocation tables for a complicated desk, where UGREEN documents more thoroughly. And skip it if PPS at a guaranteed 45W is the requirement for a Galaxy S Ultra; check the specific listing for a PPS voltage range rather than assuming, or read how Super Fast Charging is triggered. For a straight price fight in the same class, compare against Baseus and Belkin.

FAQ

Is Spigen a real charger brand or just a case company?

Both. Cases and screen protectors remain the volume business, but ArcStation is a full GaN wall-adapter line from 20W to roughly 120W, sold and warranted under the same brand.

What does the Pro in ArcStation Pro mean?

Pro marks the gallium-nitride models. Above 30W that is the version worth buying — it is smaller and runs cooler than the older silicon designs at the same rating.

Does a Spigen charger fast-charge an iPhone?

Any of the 30W-and-up models will. An iPhone peaks around 20–27W depending on the model, so a 30W ArcStation gives full speed with headroom, and a 20W cube reaches the same practical speed on older iPhones.

Are Spigen chargers certified?

US-market ArcStation units carry the standard lab and FCC markings on the housing. As with any brand, check the printed marks and the FCC ID on the product photo before buying from an unfamiliar marketplace seller.
