Why does my iPad barely charge while I am using it?
Because a large screen at high brightness can consume most of a small adapter's output — a 20W supply feeding a tablet drawing 15W to stay awake leaves almost nothing for the battery. A 30W or 45W adapter fixes it.
Can I charge an iPad with an iPhone charger?

Does a Galaxy Tab need the same 45W PPS adapter as a Galaxy phone?

Is a higher-wattage charger bad for a tablet's battery?
