Don't waste money on
Laptop-class bricks. 65W and 100W units charge this tablet at exactly the same rate a 30W does. Their value is other devices — see the 65W class if a laptop is in the picture.
Wireless charging stands. They do not exist for iPad in any meaningful sense; the hardware is not there.
Second cables you do not need. The in-box cable is already rated well beyond this tablet's draw.

FAQ
Is a 30W charger worth it over the included 20W?
On the 13-inch model, clearly — it has the largest battery in the Air line and the extra 50% of input shows up on every partial charge. On the 11-inch it is a modest but cheap improvement.
Can I use my MacBook's 70W adapter?
Yes, safely. The tablet requests roughly 30W and the adapter supplies only that. No speed advantage over a 30W unit, but no downside either.
Why won't my iPad Air charge from the keyboard port?
Pass-through ports on keyboard cases deliver less current than the tablet's own port and some do not charge at all when the tablet is under load. Plug into the iPad directly.
Does using the Apple Pencil affect charging?
The current Pencil charges wirelessly from the tablet's own battery while attached, so a tablet that is topping up a Pencil charges very slightly slower. The effect is small.
